About the event
Marien is a Northern Virginia native who is a classically trained Ballet and Modern dancer and a certified teacher of both GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® method.
Marie holds a BFA in Dance with a minor in African and African American Studies from the Ailey/Fordham Program, and currently lives and works New York City. The intersection of movement and art, along with the power of mind and body healing have always been driving forces in her life. These influences led her to begin her GYROTONIC journey in 2015.
She is excited to share her movement practice and the benefits of GYROKINESIS with freelance dancers in the DC metro area.
